18th Century Engraving Sneed Park, the Seat of Joseph Jackson Esquire.

Large and rare engraved illustration with a birds eye view of Sneed Park in Gloucestershire. Engraved by Johannes Kip. Johannes Kip (1652-1722) was born in the Netherlands and studied with the
important Dutch engraver Bastiaen Stopendaal. He later moved to Westminster, where he worked as an engraver for several London publishers and specialized in perspective views of English country estates. The engraving is glazed and housed in a period lemon gilded frame.
The condition is very good.
