Dutch Ebonized Ripple Molded Picture Frame early 20th Century
 
Classic Dutch old master ebonized frame with multiple ripple moulding.  The depth and detail is exceptional. The moulding is highlighted by a ripple panel pattern with a finish that reflects light and creates an interesting effect. The Dutch ripple is known to have existed as far back as the 1400s.
The frame is in outstanding condition with only minor wear.
