Japan 1900s Meiji Period Bronze Planter on Stand Mailand-Smith
 
Impressive patinated bronze planter with bronze tripod stand by Maitland-Smith. The planter, in the shape of a pumpkin, is cast in solid bronze. The piece is fitted with a customized bronze tripod pedestal in bamboo design. The elegant stand elevates the planter in perfect fashion. The overall condition of both pieces is very good with only little wear.
